Wild Bill Hickok's favorite pistols was this M1851 Civil War Navy
Revolver. This deluxe cap and ball replica is a single action revolver
with a 7" barrel and working action! Spin the cylinders, cock the hammer
and pull the trigger.
Deluxe simulated gold finish with heavily engraved barrel and
frame. Cylinder is engraved with tall sailing ships and grips
are simulated ivory. Comes complete with reproduction photo and
brass identification plaque. Measures 18 x 7 inches.
This authentic replica is mounted on a custom made, deluxe wood
frame which has a hand-rubbed puritan pine finish. The pistol is
held by a unique pair of bullet-shaped gun holders that are
spring loaded to hold the revolver securely yet allow easy
removal of the pistol for closer inspection.
This is not a firing gun. It is a decorator model which
cannot be made to fire real ammunition.
