Maximilian became Holy Roman Emperor in 1493 on the death of his
father Frederick III. He was skilled at handling weapons and all
forms of equestrian sport.
This is a sturdy reproduction of his close helmet.
It is made of hand-forged A-36 18 gauge mild steel. This
metallurgical composition provides excellent resilience,
durability and will polish to high sheen.
