This is a reproduction of the typical Swept Hilt Rapier of the
17th century European gentry.
This rapier is lighter than earlier styles, which allowed for
quicker and more fluid action and attack. While the cage
of this rapier is beautifully crafted, its main use was to
protect the hand of the wielder.
This design features a 36 inch steel blade and comes complete
with a leather scabbard. The blades cannot be sharpened. |
