King's Musketeer Rapier Sword
In the
year 1600, King Henry IV created an elite force to serve as his personal
guard. The king's Musketeers were personal bodyguards, and were held to
be the noblest and most renown fighters of their day.
The reason musketeers did not carry muskets lies in the strict
code of ethics and honor that these men lived by. They
considered themselves masters of swordplay and so for them to
use a firearm instead of a blade would have been unthinkable.
This sword is modeled after those used by the king's musketeers
during the 1600s. It is 46 inches overall. The blade made of
durable stainless steel. The blade will not rust and you will
not have to oil it.
The hilt is intricately detailed for authenticity. The handle is
two-tone (black & red) leather for a strong and comfortable
grip.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this Musketeer
Rapier Sword.
