gentleman of wealth. By royal command it was a required item of
dress for anyone appearing in the Spanish Court.
This elegant weapon was the final development of the full sized
rapier. This sword has a steel cup with the turned rim, to keep
an opponents thrust from deflecting off the cup and into its
target.
This is a Carzoleta rapier sword. Modeled after swords
used in the late 17th Century. It is 46 inches overall. The
blade made of durable stainless steel. The blade will not rust
and you will not have to oil it.
The hilt is intricately detailed for authenticity. The handle is
wire-wrapped and velvet for a solid yet comfortable grip.
