This 1861
Springfield Model was the principle weapon used during the Civil War.
By the end of 1863, most of the union soldiers were armed with this
popular model.
This rifle features a one piece forged barrel, military sights,
stell butt plate, trigger guard and barrel bands. It comes
complete with a ramrod,
and a one piece walnut oil finished stock.
The 1861
Springfield Rifle is .58 caliber. The barrel length is 40
inches and the overall length of this rifle is 56 inches.
This rifle is NSSA approved.
No license is required to purchase this 1861 Springfield Black
Powder Rifle. It comes complete with basic eye and hearing
protection.
