This sabre dates from the 1840's and were used through the
Civil War by Union Artillery men.
This US Artillery Sword measures 39 inches overall and features
a carbon steel blade, genuine leather handle inset with
wired brass that provides an excellent, comfortable grip.
This hilt is made of real brass and the work is very ornate. You
can see the US insignia in the picture to the left. This sword
comes with the carbon steel scabbard also pictured. The scabbard
has two belt rings which makes it perfect for reenactment.
The blade bears engraved US markings for authenticity. A close
