The Lord of the Rings Sword Anduril is the reforged Narsil used
by Aragorn, King of Gondor.
The inscription down the length of the blade on both sides
is in the language of Quenya, written in the runes of Eregion,
that say "Nanye Anduril i ne Narsil i macil Elendilo.
Lercuvanten i mali Mordoreo." This translates to "I am Anduril
who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor
flee me."
This Lord of the Rings Sword comes with a parchment certificate
of authenticity, this is an Officially Licensed piece.
The sword itself is 52 7/8 inches long with a 40 5/8 inch blade.
The blade is made of tempered 420 J2 stainless steel by
United Cutlery. The blade will not rust and does not need
to be oiled.
It has a solid metal cross guard and pommel with an antiqued
silver plated finish and 24k gold plated fittings. Also
included is a wood display plaque, with 24k gold plated, 3-D
relief cast metal symbols of the Kingdom of Gondor.
